BCFD t-shirt sales to raise money for breast cancer

BCFDbreastcancer2The Bossier City Fire Department is again joining the fight against breast cancer through the sales of t-shirts that display the department’s support of breast cancer awareness.

From now through September 19, the department is selling the specially designed t-shirts with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Northwest Louisiana affiliate just in time for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The black t-shirts feature pink breast cancer awareness ribbons with “Bossier City Fire Department” prominently displayed on the back and “BCFD” on the left chest.  In keeping with the fire department theme the ribbons have a firefighter’s helmet sitting atop of them as well as a fire hose nozzle attached to each.

The t-shirts are available to the public for just $15 each and can be purchased by calling the Bossier City Fire Department at (318) 741-8700 on weekdays during normal business hours.

This marks the second year for Bossier City Fire Department breast cancer awareness t-shirt sales.
