The Bossier City Police Department is currently looking for qualified men and women to join its ranks as police officers and jailers.

To help fill those positions the police department will host a job fair on Thursday, August 22, at the Bossier Civic Center, 620 Benton Road, from 11:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The job fair will provide attendees with the opportunity to speak with department personnel one-on-one about the various facets of the Bossier City Police Department and also learn about the department’s qualification requirements. Information will also be available regarding the many benefits BCPD has to offer.

Individuals applying for the positions of police officer or jailer must be at least 21 years of age.
