BCPD clear burglary cases with dual arrest

Bossier City police have cleared several residential burglaries with the arrests of two suspects. Marcus Andrew Keller, 29, of Bossier City, and Lagarian Deonthadis Allums, 22, of Shreveport, face a number of criminal charges in connection with at last least half a dozen burglaries that occurred in north Bossier City, namely the Greenacres, Greenacres Place, and Brownlee Estates neighborhoods, over the past few weeks.

Keller and Allums were taken into custody on Friday after an investigation by detectives with the Property Crimes Unit linked them to the break-ins. Detectives were also able to recover several items believed taken in the burglaries including laptop computers and mobile phones. Police are now in the process of matching up that property with the respective owners so that they may be returned.

Keller and Allum were both booked into the Bossier City Jail and subsequently transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. Keller’s bond is set at $181,000 while Allums bond $75,000.

Detectives say their investigation remains ongoing.
