BCPD promotes three officers

Bossier City Chief of Police Shane McWilliams has announced the promotions of three police officers. The officers were promoted Wednesday morning during a ceremony at the Bossier City Police Department with family members and department personnel in attendance.

  • Richard Broom-McGee was promoted to the rank of captain. Capt. Broom-McGee has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1990 and is assigned as commander of the patrol division.
  • Charles Faktor was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Faktor has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1991 and is assigned as assistant commander of the patrol division.
  • Doug Fuller was promoted to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Fuller has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1997 and is assigned to the patrol division.
