The Bossier City Police Department will be making some traffic flow adjustments on portions of the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway Saturday afternoon, November 16, 2013 to accommodate the Northwest Louisiana Trail Riders Association’s trail ride.

The trail ride, which is being held in conjunction with Real Cowboy Association’s National Black Rodeo Finals, will start at approximately 1 p.m. from the CenturyLink Center and head north on CenturyLink Drive to Walker Place. From there it will travel west to the A.R.T. Parkway and go north to McDade Street where it will U-turn and head south on the A.R.T. Parkway back to the CenturyLink Center. The ride is scheduled to end around 5 p.m.

As the trail ride proceeds along the route, Bossier City police will block intersections accordingly and close the outside lanes of traffic on the Parkway. The inside lanes will remain open however motorists on the A.R.T. Parkway may experience some delays. Motorists may want to consider using Barksdale Boulevard as an alternative route during this time.

The National Black Rodeo Finals will take place later that evening at the CenturyLink Center beginning at 8 p.m.
