BOSSIER CITY – Ben was born on July 17, 1944 and passed away on October 22, 2013. He was born in Transylvania, LA and spent most of his life in the oil fields of West Texas. Ben was also an accomplished hunter and fisherman.
Ben is survived by his son, Glenn Bradley Long; grandchildren, Zachery Rosser Long, Robert Blake Long and Ashlee Elisabeth Long; siblings, Jerry and Helen Long, Sam and Audrey Long and Dottie and Ray Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Houston Loy Long and Virgie Newton Long; siblings, Huey P. Long, Loy Long, Lora Baggs, Carolyn Sue Talley and Virginia Ann Madden.
A memorial service will be held at 1052 Meadowview at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013.
