The Benton Tigers picked up a pair of freshman and junior varsity football victories Monday. The freshman team defeated Plain Dealing 27-14 and the JV team downed Bossier 28-12.
Garrett Hable passed 12 yards to Brooks Cram and ran 13 yards for another score in the freshman victory. Doyle Adams Jr. raced 35 yards for a TD. Sidney Smith scored on a 4-yard run.
Carter Parks kicked three extra points.
Jonathan Thompson threw four touchdown passes in the JV victory, two each to John Westmoreland and Collin Milton. Westmoreland’s covered 12 and 35 yards, and Milton’s covered 30 and 40 yards.
Thompson also hit Westmoreland for a two-point conversion. Austin Dingus ran for a two-point conversion.
