Intermittent lane closures are scheduled to begin Friday, July 30 on a section of La. Hwy. 3 (Benton Rd.) from U.S. Hwy. 80 (E. Texas St.) north to I-220 in Bossier City, according to an announcement by the La. Department of Transportation and Development.
Lane closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly to allow AEP to install fiber along Benton Rd. Closures will continue until the utility company completes the project.
Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution through the work zone.
