The Biedenharn Foundation recently awarded Dress for Success Shreveport Bossier a $10,000 donation to be used for the nonprofit organization’s operations and programs for 2020.
“We are always grateful for community support,” said Erica McCain, executive director for Dress for Success Shreveport Bossier. “The Biedenharn Foundation is a pillar of our community and we are excited for the donation and how many women it will impact.”
Dress for Success Shreveport Bossier is an affiliate of the international organization, Dress for Success Worldwide. The local chapter promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Programs provided include the Confident Suiting Program, Women of the Workforce and the Professional Women’s Group.
