Bistineau Task Force Meeting planned for March 19

The next Bistineau Task Force meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2015 @ 10:15 a.m.in the police jury room at the Webster Parish courthouse (2nd floor).

Bistineau4Representative Gene Reynolds will be there to discuss new legislation that could help with funding and Mike Woods, Director of Inland Fisheries, LDWF will be discussing a 2015 management plan for the lake.  Also, Jeff Sibley, LDWF will be on hand to provide an update on Lake Bistineau.

The Bistineau Task Force is a product of the cooperative agreement between Bienville, Bossier, and Webster Parish Police Juries and Trailblazer Resource, Conservation, and Development (RC&D) to combat the spread and domination of the invasive Giant Salvinia in Lake Bistineau.
