Water service has been restored in portions of Dogwood subdivision and a boil advisory is now in effect.

Bossier Parish officials said the service, which had been shut down Monday afternoon when a valve was damaged, was back on line shortly after 3.a.m. Tuesday. A boil advisory will remain in effect until water samples are declared safe by the state health department.

“We appreciate the cooperation and patience of the residents in the Dogwood subdivision who were impacted by the outage,” said Bossier Parish Administrator Bill Altimus.
