Bossier boys head coach accepts assistant principal position at Elm Grove

Jeremiah Williams, who coached Bossier to two boys basketball state championships in the last six years, has accepted the position of assistant principal at Elm Grove Middle School, according to Bossier principal David Thrash.

Williams guided Bossier to Class 4A state titles in 2011 and 2016. The Bearkats have reached five state championship games since the 2008-2009 season, Williams’ second year.

Bossier also reached the Class 3A semifinals in 2013 and 2014.

During one stretch, Bossier won 62 straight district games.
