WHO:  Bossier Chamber of Commerce, City of Bossier and Goodwill Industries

FOR: The event is open to all active and retired military personnel and their immediate family members. All job seekers should bring their military I.D. or DD214 as proof of military background to the job fair. Identification will be checked at the door.

WHAT:  Spring Veterans’ Job & Resource Fair. The Bossier Chamber is partnering with the City of Bossier and Goodwill Industries to provide opportunities and resources for job seekers – active or retired military and their immediate family members. More than 40 businesses and resource agencies will be on hand at Thursday’s event, with businesses prepared to conduct interviews, schedule interviews and offer jobs to attendees.

WHEN:  Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 12 to 4 p.m.

WHERE:  Bossier Civic Center

WHY:  The Bossier Chamber as well as the Bossier-Shreveport community make it a priority to ensure local military members have high-quality career and education opportunities at the fair. These opportunities include chances to meet and greet with businesses and education representatives who are specifically interested in serving military personnel. The vendors are also open and excited to serve personnel who are new to the community and seeking employment and/or education opportunities. The Bossier Chamber has hosted the annual fair every fall and spring since 2010, and each one has concluded with multiple education and career offers from excellent entities within the Bossier-Shreveport area.
