The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will host a 2026 National Civics Bee Regional Competition aimed at encouraging more young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Middle school students from across Bossier Parish will demonstrate their civics knowledge, discuss how they would solve a problem facing their community, and compete for cash prizes.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 21 with the competition to beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Bossier Parish Community College Theatre. Building C, 6220 E. Texas St. in Bossier City.
