Bossier City residents can expect no interruption to residential garbage collection during the upcoming Independence Day holiday.

According to information shared on the City of Bossier City’s Facebook page on Monday, June 29, residential trash pickup will continue on its regular schedule, including routes scheduled for Saturday, July 4.

While garbage collection will operate as normal, city officials announced that both the Bossier City Drop-Off Station and the Bossier City Recycling Center will close for the holiday on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

The two facilities are scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 6, during their regular business hours.

City officials encourage residents to place their trash containers at the curb as usual on their scheduled collection day and to plan ahead if they need to use the drop-off or recycling facilities before the holiday closures.
