At it’s Tuesday afternoon meeting, the Bossier City Council voted unanimously to move forward with the re-development of downtown Bossier City.

With a unanimous vote, the Bossier City Council also voted to move forward with the extension of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway to the north – which will go over the railroad tracks near Benton Road and then add another overpass that will be built at Montgomery Lane. After completion, Bossier City will have a true north-south thoroughfare with no railroad track interference for the first time ever.

To fund these projects, Bossier City will re-finance $20 million in bonds.
