The Bossier City Farmers Market has been officially recognized as the 2025 #1 Farmers Market in the State of Louisiana by American Farmland Trust and the Farmers Market Coalition during this year’s America’s Farmers Market Celebration — the largest nationwide ranking program honoring local farmers markets across the country.
This award reflects the dedication, spirit, and support of our community here in Shreveport–Bossier. With over 70 weekly vendors, the Bossier City Farmers Market continues to provide a place where families can gather, local farmers can flourish, and small businesses can grow. From fresh produce and farm goods, to handmade art, baked items, and culturally diverse foods — the market showcases the heart of our region every Saturday.

The market runs every Saturday April-November at Pierre Bossier Mall, providing free admission, free parking, family-friendly activities, live music, and a welcoming space where culture and creativity come together. Many of the vendors are family-owned small businesses and farms who rely on local support to continue growing, producing, and sharing their craft.
