Bossier City Fire Department adds four new firefighters

The Bossier City Fire Department added four new firefighters to its ranks Friday evening as the newest class of cadets graduated from the BCFD Training Academy during a ceremony at the Bossier City Public Safety Training Center, 5850 Shed Road.

Fire Chief Brad Zagone administered the oath to the firefighters – Jonathon Cade Badiali, Colby Phillip Miller, Shakiah Renee Mitchell and Chad Austin Rambin – with Bossier City Mayor Lorenz Walker, family, friends and BCFD personnel in attendance.

The class wrapped up 5 months of training which began in October of 2015 and included classroom and manipulative instruction covering a wide facet of fire operations such as live fire suppression, hazardous materials, emergency medical services and emergency rescue among other areas.

Following the graduation the new firefighters were assigned to their respect shifts.
