Bossier City Fire Department Announces Open Application Process for Entry Level Firefighters

The Bossier City Fire Dept. is currently accepting applications – Individuals who are motivated and service oriented are encouraged to apply. The application process is now open and will close March 27^, 2026. Minimum Qualifications and Training Process Information can be accessed on line at the time of application. Applicants must complete a two step application process which includes:

1. Submission of an online application, including completion of a cognitive and behavioral assessment.
2. Successful completion of a physical fitness assessment administered by the Bossier City Fire Department.
