Bossier City Hall Security Entrance Project to Open to the Public

Because of Bossier City’s concern and commitment to the Safety of our Citizens City Hall began a project to increase Safety for those entering City Hall. The project consisted of creating a single-entry point that will be equipped with a City Marshal, walk through scanner and cameras. This project also required extensive reconstruction of the entry way into the Municipal Complex. Mayor Chandler and our City Council is proud to announce that this project is now complete. Mayor Chandler describes the project as a “worthwhile investment in the security of all who enters City Hall. An investment that could not have been accomplished without the support of our City Council.” The new entry way will open at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 3^rd and there will be a ceremonial opening at 2:30 p.m. The Public are invited to attend.
