Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place on March 26, 2025, in Bossier City. Amyah West, 20, succumbed to her injuries at Ochsner LSU Medical Center after suffering a gunshot wound earlier that day.
West, a resident of 1408 Beverly Street, Bossier City, was pronounced dead at the hospital, prompting an active homicide investigation. An autopsy has been performed, with results currently pending.
“Our condolences are extended to Amyah’s family and friends during this difficult time,” officials stated.
