Bossier City Police and Fire respond to fatal crash on I-20 Sunday night


At 8 p.m. Sunday night, Aug. 19, the Bossier City Police and Fire departments responded to a single vehicle crash on I-20 west near the Industrial Drive exit.

Officers of the Accident Investigation Team determined that the driver of the vehicle was traveling west bound on I-20 approaching the Industrial Drive exit when, for reasons that remain under investigation, he drove off the roadway and struck a tree.  

The driver, 30-year-old Trey Teeters, of Princeton LA, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Bossier City Fire Department. The other occupant in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, was transported to University Health with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
