In a heartfelt tribute to local heroes, Ryan Gatti, Attorney at Law, hosted a First Responder Appreciation Lunch at The Stable on Thursday, July 3, bringing together first responders and their families for a community-wide show of gratitude.

The event, held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., welcomed active-duty, retired and in-training members of EMS, fire and rescue, law enforcement and the military. As part of his law firm’s 25th anniversary celebration, Gatti and his team said they were honored to host the occasion to recognize those who selflessly serve and protect the region every day.

Guests enjoyed a generous and patriotic spread, including pulled pork and barbecue chicken plates catered by Pig and Chick BBQ, boiled shrimp from Cooyan’s and hot dogs for children. A festive touch came with free ice cream from a local ice cream truck, delighting attendees young and old.

For first responders needing to quickly return to duty, to-go plates ensured no one left without a meal and a heartfelt thank-you. Families were encouraged to attend, creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere filled with appreciation and fellowship.

The First Responder Appreciation Lunch served not only as a celebration of service but also as a reminder of the deep ties between Bossier’s citizens and its emergency personnel. On the eve of Independence Day, the event stood as a powerful example of local patriotism and unity.
