Bossier High is hosting a free youth basketball camp from July 20-23 in the school’s gym.

The Coaches Care Skill Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon each day. It is for students who will be in the fourth through eighth grades during the upcoming school year.

“We have about 15 coaches from varying area schools coming together to put on a quality camp for free in an effort to give back to the community,” Bossier boys head coach Jeremiah Williams said in a text message.

The first 100 students who sign up will be accepted. Registration has started at Bossier High and is between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. For more information call 549-6692 or email cedric.washington@bossierschools.org.

Williams said community churches will be donating food and basketballs will be given to the campers. Bossier City attorney Ryan Gatti is donating T-shirts.

The student’s name, age and grade must be provided to secure entry. Parents must also provide a consent form.
