Bossier City Fire Department personnel were called to the Fountain Lakes Apartments in the 3300 block of East Texas Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. Monday by a relative who came to suspect’s apartment and found the child lying in his crib not breathing. The fire department transported the child to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A day long investigation conducted by the Violent Crimes Unit and Bossier Parish Coroner’s Office found the child had died as the result of blunt force trauma he sustained Monday morning while in the care of his father.

Hannon was booked into the Bossier City Jail and subsequently transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.
