It will be a major celebration and everyone is invited to say Happy 175th  anniversary to Bossier Parish at a Bossier Night Market scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Admission is free.

More than 200 vendors plus food trucks and live music will be featured at the Pierre Bossier Mall south parking lot (facing I-20) to help celebrate the culture and history of Bossier Parish.

A tent with special 175th Anniversary-themed giveaways and a free make-and-take craft, sponsored by the Bossier Parish Libraries Community Engagement and History Center, will be open. Supplies are limited, so everything is on a first-come, first served basis.

More information on the Bossier Parish 175th Anniversary activities is available by calling the History Center at 318-746-7717.
