Students in Bossier Schools have a lot of talent and it shows!
Come see for yourself from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 23, under the Texas Street Bridge at the Louisiana Boardwalk when the district presents its 2nd Annual Bossier Schools Showcase.
Schools across Bossier Parish will showcase what makes them stand out as their students’ talents and clubs are in the spotlight. There will be tumbling and running club demonstrations, choral, cheer and dance performances, Stomp Club and Bucket Brigade presentations, Destination Imagination Instant Challenges the public will be invited to participate in and much more.
Parkway Cheer, Dance and Pep teams will also be face painting for free from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Bossier Schools’ Early Childhood Education department will be handing out free books to young children, storytelling and distributing information about PreK opportunities in the parish.

Bossier Schools Showcase Schedule:
*10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Parkway Cheer, Dance and Pep will do face painting
**Early Childhood Education will be there distributing books and pamphlets
10 a.m. – Plantation Park tumbling team and STOMP Club
10:30 – Legacy Elementary cheerleaders will perform as well as their Talented Music group
11 a.m. – Princeton Bucket Brigade
11:30 a.m. — Waller Cheerleaders
11:45 am. – Waller Running Club will lead kids in stretches and a warm-up routine
Noon – W.T. Lewis Honor Choir and cheerleaders
12:30 – Sun City Gold Stars
1 p.m. – Destination Imagination teams will perform, then the public will be invited to participate in DI Instant Challenges
2 p.m. – Apollo cheerleaders
2:15 p.m. – Storytelling by Bossier Schools’ Early Childhood Education department
2:30 – Benton Elementary
3 p.m. — Carrie Martin Destination Imagination team and 4-H Club
3:30 – Bossier High cheerleaders
3:45-4:15 – Elm Grove Middle School Choir
4:15 p.m. – Parkway Glee Club
4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. – TAP (Talented Arts Program) Music students from Princeton, Platt and Haughton Middle will perform
6-8 p.m. – TAP Music students from Bossier High Jazz and Haughton High will put on back to back performances
