Out of an abundance of caution, all Bossier schools and district offices will remain CLOSED Thursday, January 29 as the district continues to assess the impact the recent winter storm is having on operations.
Though the ice is melting, considerable hazards remain on roadways, bus ramps, in car lines and on our school campuses, making it unsafe for our students and staff to return. In addition, the National Weather Service is forecasting freezing fog overnight and into Thursday morning, heightening the danger for travel.
It is our hope to reopen Friday, January 30 after benefiting from another day of above-freezing temperatures.
