Bossier Sheriff “arrested” for MDA fundraiser

Sgt. Johnnie Estess with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office “arrested” Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington Thursday morning as part of the 2014 Bossier City Lock-Up SheriffLogoto support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

A warrant was issued for Sheriff Whittington’s arrest with a bond amount of $800, which had to be met by accepting donations from family, friends and businesses. At arrest time, he had more than double his bond amount, and was bailed out immediately by raising $1,797 to support MDA and help cure muscular dystrophy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and related diseases.

  1. How is this news. Old white cops pretending to be arrested is not news. I bet they didn’t put him in a cell with the real criminals like they do everybody else. Louisiana is ran by bible thumping, closed minded, red neck , old white men. AKA lousiana free masons.
