The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the promotion of four deputies
today, recognizing them for their dedication, professionalism, and leadership.
Corporal Bryan Sprankle was promoted to Patrol Shift Sergeant, Leighton Becker
advanced to Sergeant in Criminal Investigations, Josh Wolverton was recognized
for his promotion to Detective in Criminal Investigations, and Chris Wood was
promoted to Sergeant and School Resource Officer Supervisor.
Sheriff Julian Whittington praised the newly promoted deputies for their
commitment to the department and the community. “These men have consistently
demonstrated the kind of hard work, integrity, and leadership that keeps our parish
safe. Their dedication sets a strong example for others, and I’m confident they will
continue to bring great things to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office in the years ahead.”
