Bossier Sheriff’s Office to provide annual report

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington is providing an Annual Report that chronicles the past year’s accomplishments for the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.

The report is available either online, at the three substations, or at the courthouse.

“I’ve had the honor to serve as Sheriff of Bossier Parish for a little more than a year now, and I want our residents to see what our team has accomplished,” said Whittington. The Annual Report covers July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 and features sections about Your Safety, Your Children, and Your Tax Dollars.

The Sheriff notes the Annual Report highlights the deputies, Reserve, staff members, Posse, Ladies’ Auxiliary and volunteers.

“We work hard every day to ensure Bossier Parish continues to be one of the safest communities anywhere,” said Whittington. “You can have the best facilities and equipment, but without deputies who care about and know how to treat people they work for, you will never become the professional law enforcement agency you strive for.

The Annual Report can be viewed on the Bossier Sheriff’s Office website at www.bossiersheriff.com, located midway down on the right-hand side. You can also pick up a report at each of the three substations located at 7076 Highway 3 in Benton, 2510 Viking Drive in Bossier City and 3135 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in Bossier City, as well as the Sheriff’s Office in the Bossier Parish Courthouse in Benton.
