  • Monday through Saturday 12 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
  • Saturday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Closed on Sunday

Shed Road Community Playfield Pool – 4208 Shed Road
The opening of this pool will be delayed a few weeks as construction on the new pool house is not yet complete. Once the pool opens the hours will be:

  • Monday through Friday 12 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
  • Saturday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Closed on Sunday

Daily public swim fees are $2 for adults and $1 for children (17 years and under). BPAR_LOGOIndividual and family season passes are also available at $35 (per person) or $75 (for up to a family of 4).

Each year, four two-week swimming lesson sessions are offered at the Mike Wood pool and Shed Road pool.

Since the opening of the Shed Road pool will be delayed, swimming lessons normally offered at that pool will take place at the Fort Smith park pool until the new Shed Road pool opens. NOTE:  Signups for those lessons will be conducted at the Bossier Parks and Recreation office in the city’s Public Service Complex at 3223 Old Shed Road Wednesday, May 27, through Friday, May 29, from noon-5 p.m. After Friday, swimming lesson signups will be taken at the Fort Smith pool during regular pool hours.

Swimming lesson signups for Mike Woods pool will be taken at that pool as usual.

The fee for each session is $40. Swimming lessons begin on June 1 and participants can sign up at either the Shed Road pool location or at the Mike Wood pool starting May 27.
