The Bossier Bearkats finished third in the Mary Lawler Invitational with a 56-50 victory over host Northwood Saturday.
Devonte Hall, who was named to the all-tournament team, led the Bearkats (5-3) with 23 points and Kentrell Hardy had 17.
Hall poured in 27 points in a 70-63 loss to St. Thomas Moore in Friday’s semifinals. Jericho Moss added 15 points, and Hardy had nine. The game was tight throughout but Bossier couldn’t withstand a 38-point performance by St. Thomas More’s Trey Touchet.
Elsewhere, the Haughton Bucs notched their first two wins of the season en route the consolation title.
The Bucs defeated Green Oaks 55-50 in overtime in the finals Saturday and North DeSoto 52-41 in the semifinals Friday.
PJ Douglas scored 15 points and Javonte Woodard 14 to lead Haughton against Green Oaks. Damien Sears and Ray Cole had 11 each.
The Benton Tigers fell to Southwood 77-64 in Friday’s semifinals. William Givens led the Tigers with 13 points. Rudy Davis added 11 and Dajerrick White 10,
After losing their first two games, the Airline Vikings ended the St. Amant tournament on a high note with a 51-29 victory over Chalmette.
Airline lost to East Ascension 58-41 and Ruston 49-41 the first two days of the event.
Noah Hildebrand and Brandon led Airline (3-3) against Ruston with eight points each. Hildebrand had 11, including three 3-pointers, against East Ascension.
Hildebrand hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 in the win over Chalmette. Frantrell Rogers chipped in with 10 points.
