Senior guards Kentrell Hardy of Bossier and Chiner Long of Plain Dealing have been named honorable mention on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 3A and 1A All-State boys basketball teams, respectively.
Hardy and Chiner were both first-team All-Parish selections. Hardy averaged 15.1 points, 2.1 steals and 1.7 assists for a Bossier team that shared the District 1-3A title with Evangel. Long averaged 15.5 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds for the District 1-1A runner-up Lions.
