Bossier Parish Community College’s Fall 2013 enrollment reached 8,512 students, an increase of 7.5% over Fall 2012. For the 5th fall semester in a row, BPCC has reached its highest enrollment in the school’s 46-year history.
“Enrollment growth is a great indication that students find value in the product a college offers,” says Chancellor Jim Henderson. “As we continue to provide students the soundest foundation upon which to build their careers or further their education, our enrollment will continue to grow.”
Based on 14th class day credit enrollment figures, BPCC’s enrollment increased 595 students from Fall 2012.
Henderson adds, “Even more exciting: our growth in the number of graduates outpaces the 80% growth in enrollment over the past four years. These successful students have a competitive advantage whether they enter the job market or continue their education.”
