BPCC & BAFB OFFICIALS SIGN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL & CULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES TO AIRMEN, THEIR FAMILIES
Bossier Parish Community College and Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB) have developed a Memorandum of Understanding in which current BAFB airmen and their immediate family members may attend regular season intercollegiate athletics and performing arts events on the BPCC campus at no charge.
According to the agreement, “BPCC & BAFB share a mutual interest in fostering relationships that promote the holistic development of students and airmen. Thus, they provide recreational and cultural opportunities to their respective constituent groups….and [they] agree that allowing current, active-duty Barksdale airmen and their immediate family members to attend regular season intercollegiate athletic and performing arts events on the BPCC campus benefits each entity.”
