“Bossier Parish Community College’s motto of embracing, educating, and empowering shows through in every aspect of our College,” says Karen Recchia, Vice Chancellor of Student Services.  “We embrace our students and community and educate them both in the classroom and by supporting community events. It’s with this education that our students and community are then empowered to make a difference in their lives and the lives of those around them.  BPCC Athletics plays a big role in our mission by participating in many community service activities throughout the year.”

Coach Aaron Vorachek echoes Recchia’s comments. “The BPCC Cavalier Baseball team is honored to be a part of promoting breast cancer awareness in conjunction with the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure,” says Vorachek. “All the players are looking forward to ‘PINK OUT BASEBALL’ and we hope the community will join us as we support this worthy cause.”
