Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) will close its Bossier, Natchitoches, and Sabine Valley campuses on Thursday, January 9Friday, January 10, and Saturday, January 11, in anticipation of winter weather conditions expected to impact the north Louisiana region. This precautionary closure is being made to prioritize the safety of BPCC’s faculty, staff, and students.

Virtual classes will continue as scheduled, and student services will remain accessible online. Students enrolled in face-to-face classes starting on Thursday or Friday should check Canvas for updates and instructions from their instructors.

Campuses are set to reopen, with all classes resuming on Monday, January 13th.

College administrators will continue to monitor the weather closely and provide updates as needed. Emergency notifications and updates will be shared through the BPCC website, official social media channels, BPCC email, and the Cavs Alert System.
