BPCC music program schedules fall band concert

BPCCThe BPCC Concert Winds will present its final Fall Concert at 7:30 pm on Friday, November 14 in the Performing Arts Theatre, on the BPCC campus, 6220 E. Texas St, Bossier City, LA.

The Concert Winds under the direction of Dr. Michael D. Hart will take the stage to perform standard wind band selections guaranteed to bring enjoyment to audiences of all ages.

The Concert Winds will perform “American Sketches” by Barry E. Kopetz; “Landscapes” by Rossano Galante; “Gloria” by Randol Alan Bass; “Italian Holiday”, a medley of beloved Italian folk song and operatic melodies; and “Concerto for 2 Piccolos & Band” by Antonio Vivaldi featuring Alicia Payton and Shelby Lauter on piccolo.

Many of the students enrolled in the ensembles are full-tuition music scholarship recipients.  Auditions for BPCC music scholarships are held periodically throughout the year.
