Bossier Parish Community College held a ribbon-cutting for its new Learning Commons today.New BPCC Logo
Formerly the BPCC Library, the Learning Commons is a welcoming, engaging environment designed to enhance student success. With designated areas for study, research, and tutoring, the focal point of the new Learning Commons is technology.
Students will now have a newly constructed classroom for library orientations, access to updated computers, wireless networking, and a new state-of-the-art scan and print station. The Learning Commons also offers quiet study space for students, relaxed seating areas, and study rooms for both large and small group collaboration.
In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony, BPCC announced its Capital Campaign: “Building Success Together” from which the funding for the Learning Commons was made available.
