BPCC faculty, staff, students, and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in numerous events on and off campus to honor and celebrate the service of all U.S. military veterans and current members of the Armed Forces.

Our annual Veterans Day Commemoration at BPCC is scheduled for 12:30 pm Friday, November 11 in the Performing Arts Theatre (Building C) on the College’s campus, 6220 E. Texas St. Bossier City, LA.

We are honored to have for our featured keynote speaker this year Colonel Ty W. Neuman, Commander, 2nd Bomb Wing, BAFB.  The program will include the presenting of colors by Airline High School Color Guard and opening remarks by BPCC Chancellor Dr. Rick Bateman, Jr.

“The joyous celebration of Veterans Day over the years has become a day to give thanks for individuals who have served past, present and pay homage to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice,” said BPCC’s Coordinator of Diversity & Multicultural Relations, Dr. Cindy Darby. BPCC is designated as a Military Friendly School®.

The event is free and open to the public.
