The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Covs picked up a key Region XIV victory over Blinn College 83-77 Saturday afternoon at BPCC.
The Lady Cavs, who rallied from a 44-39 halftime deficit, improved to 14-7 overall and 7-4 in the conference. BPCC moved into a tie for third in Region XIV with Blinn (14-7, 7-4)
Former Airline star Jeannine Myles led BPCC with 20 points. Crystal Jones added 18 and Desiree Lyons 13.
BPCC returns to action Wednesday against defending national champion Trinity Valley Community College (18-1, 10-0). Tip-off is at 5:30 at BPCC.
