BPPJ addresses waste disposal options for Bossier residents

Bossier Parish residents who have contracted with J&J Disposal Service should begin looking for another waste removal service.

In an email response to an inquiry by the Bossier Parish Police Jury, a parish waste disposal company announced it had closed its doors. The email, dated Thursday, Feb. 4, said simply, “J&J Disposal Service is no longer in business and as Mrs. Bennett said on the news people should get another service.”

No contact person was named in the email, but an email address was available. That address is jandjdisposal@suddenlink.net. No other information on the company or how customers can contact J&J officials was made available to the police jury.
