Update: Teenaged male found shot in the chest in Bossier City


Update as of 5 pm: From the Bossier City Police Department: Bossier City police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Schex Drive at 1 PM Saturday relative to a shooting. Officers found the 14-year old male victim sitting in a car parked in the driveway of his residence. Bossier City Fire Department personnel took the teen to University Health in Shreveport. Detectives have been interviewing several individuals in regard to the incident and in the process of determining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Breaking News as first reported at 3 pm: Just in to the BPT newsroom: A teenaged male has been found shot in the chest on Schex Drive in Bossier City. Injuries appear to be life threatening. BPT will update this breaking news story as more details are made available.
