BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 527 over Flat River, Bossier Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, September 23, 2024, the LA 527 bridge over Flat River in south Bossier Parish will be closed for necessary pile repair.

This closure is scheduled to be in place through Thursday, September 26, 2024.

This bridge is located approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection with US 71 near the community of Taylortown. (see included map)

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location.

Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
