BSO seeks Haughton hit and run suspect

Bossier Sheriff’s Office deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who committed a hit and run in the parking lot of a store in Haughton last week.

Video surveillance from the Family Dollar on Highway 80 shows a white male, dressed in a camo shirt, black pants, and camo ball cap pull up in front of the store in a white or silver extended cab Chevrolet or GMC truck at 1:23 p.m. on Sept. 5.

The man enters the store, makes his purchases and then leaves.  As the man is backing up his truck in the parking lot, he hits a Buick Regal in the rear driver’s side fender, causing significant damage.  The man then pulls forward, sits for several seconds, before pulling back onto Highway 80 and heading west.

You can see surveillance video of the incident below:

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to please contact Bossier Crimestoppers at (318) 424-4100 or the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-2203.
