The Bistineau Task Force has developed a survey to gain input from the public about the past and future management of Lake Bistineau.
The public commenting period will start on September 1 and conclude on September 18th at the BTF Meeting. This survey is available online at http://www.trailblazer.org/btf/ or by request from Trailblazer RC&D (call 318-255-3554 to request an email copy or fax).
The completed survey can be submitted via email, fax, or mail (send to 302 E Reynolds Dr, Ruston, La 71270) within the specified time frame.
A survey form will also be available at the BTF meeting for people to fill out and submit on Thursday, September 18th at 10:15 a.m. on the 2nd floor of the Webster Parish Courthouse. This meeting will be focused on oral public comments.
Each person will have 1 minute to address the BTF. [This is not a Q & A session] The commenting period will end at the conclusion of the BTF meeting on Sep. 18, 2014.
Copies of all comments received will be packaged and given to the La. Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries leadership in Baton Rouge and also to the elected state senator and state representatives.
