The Bossier Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding the suspect or suspects who stole weapons and power tools and caused extensive property damage during a burglary at a residence just north of the town of Benton in late November.

Detectives are looking for the culprits who broke into a residence off of Highway 160 during the week of Thanksgiving while the residents were away. The suspects stole a Rock River AR-15 rifle, Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, six complete Rock River AR-15 upper receivers, Dewalt generator, Winco generator, Exmark zero turn lawnmower and numerous tools and ammunition. The suspects also caused widespread property damage inside the residence.

Detectives are aggressively investigating the case, but could use the public’s help. Someone may have heard of a person trying to pawn these weapons or tools. Maybe they tried to sell them to you. Maybe bragged about what they stole. Detectives are hopeful for someone to come forward with any information about this crime so these weapons and tools can be taken off the street and returned to their rightful owner.
