A burn ban covering all of Bossier Parish has been issued today, Friday, Sept. 25, effective immediately.
Fire chiefs in all Bossier Parish Fire Districts, including the towns of Haughton and Plain Dealing, jointly agreed to implement the ban until further notice due to the excessive hot and dry conditions over the past weeks.
