BOSSIER CITY – Committal services with military honors for Carrol Floyd Blasingame, 79, will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Hill Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Reginald Crawford officiating.

“Blas” was born on April 11, 1934 in Hill County, Texas and passed away peacefully in Shreveport, Louisiana. Carrol was a Vietnam veteran who served 20 years in the United States Air Force. After retirement “Blas” went back to work at Barksdale as a civilian. He spent 20 years working as civil service employee with the 2nd CES (Civil Engineering Squadron). He will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Lilian Whitt Blasingame and two brothers. “Blas” is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Jendoubaeff Blasingame; son, Terry Blasingame; daughter, Carol Molina and husband Alcides; brother, George Blasingame and wife Marge, and granddaughter, Crystal Ann Villarreal.
